JOURNEY FROM ORDINARY TO EXTRAORDINARY

Mr. Santosh Kumar Agrawal, a man from Dumka (Jharkhand) who came to Haryana with huge dreams, started his career in training students for martial arts such as Kickboxing, Wushu, Karate, Taekwondo, Aikido (5 martial arts).

After hard work of 4-5 years, in training students the above mentioned martial arts. Mr. Santosh Kumar Agrawal decided to establish only one sport and he decided to leave all the sports and focused all of his energy in the development of Kickboxing sport, the sport which was always close to his heart from the starting of his career.

From that point of life, he never looked back, from a normal trainer to District and to State, then eventually being the National President of WAKO India.

This commitment and dedication towards the Kickboxing sport, bestowed on him the honor of being the elected President of WAKO India Kickboxing Federation in the year 2021.

He has represented the country as the head of delegation and team coach and referee in Vietnam, Russia, Italy, Slovakia, Korea, Turkmenistan, Hungary, Serbia, Nepal and Turkey, Ireland and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

  • To serve as WAKO INDIA President, and have a great term of presidency with complete transparency, integrity and good governance.
  • To promote, regulate, and govern Kickboxing Sport in India.
  • To inculcate sportsman spirit among the aspiring players by fair play competitions.
  • To empower girls and women with a self defense system through Kickboxing Sport.
Key Milestones
  • Serving as President of WAKO INDIA since 2017.
  • Organised grand National Kickboxing Championship in Faridabad District, Haryana 2014 which was a huge success.
  • Organized first ever WAKO India Open International Kickboxing Tournament in Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi 2020 Engaged professional administrative and technical support for the Kickboxing Sport.
  • Member of WAKO WORLD Technical Committee
  • WAKO INDIA Kickboxing Federation was awarded Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports recognition from the Government of India as National Sport Federation (NSF) under the able leadership of Mr. Santosh Kumar Agrawal (National President Of WAKO India).
